East Slope Grizzly Bear. The grizzly bears displayed within this section are primarily images that were taken along the east slope of the Rocky Mountains.  The Yoho, Banff, Jasper and Revelstoke National Parks would be included in what I consider to be the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountain Range.

Alaskan Brown Bear. The images displayed in this section are taken from various locations within the beautiful state of Alaska

Black Bear. The images in this section are not divided into physical locations, the backgrounds may lead the viewer to imagine where the bear may have been encountered.

Polar Bear. The polar bear – the largest most ferocious man-hunting carnivore, spectacular animals located in the arctic regions.

Ice Grizzlies – The ice grizzly is found at Bear Cave Mountain, in the Fishing Branch Territory. Situated 250 km north of Dawson City Yukon, the area is famous for it’s late October chum spawn and frigid cold temperatures that create a perfect environment for the ice grizzlies!

Kermode (Spirit) bear. The images in this gallery were captured in the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia
